Meet Tiffany Majovsky

President & Founder

A woman with long, wavy, light brown hair sitting on a tan leather armchair. She is smiling and resting her chin on her left hand. She is dressed in a gray business suit with black high heels, a black shirt, and a silver necklace. For 20 years, my career has brought together industry and education. I started as a process operator in a refinery, where I learned what it means to work in a complex environment where preparation, communication, and trust matter every day.

Early in my career, a conversation with a colleague, who became an important mentor, changed my life's direction. He shared an experience that showed me, in a deeply personal way, what can happen when someone is not adequately prepared for their work. He also spent the rest of his career training and supporting others' development. I left that conversation knowing I wanted to dedicate my career to training and helping people work safely.

While I was still working in industry, I began studying how adults learn and what it takes to create training that truly prepares people for their work. I focused on procedure (SOP) and manual development, instructional and universal design, curriculum development, assessment and evaluation, diverse learning environments, and supporting adults with learning disabilities. I wanted to make a greater difference, which led me into the education sector to help prepare the next generation of skilled workers.

I began as a Professor of Power Engineering and progressed to Program Coordinator for the Power Engineering programs. From there, I moved into the roles of Associate Dean and, later, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science, Engineering Technology & Trades. Each step gave me the opportunity to support more people, learn about industrial workforce development challenges, strengthen more programs, and build closer connections between education, employers, and the communities we serve.

I kept learning, too. I completed leadership studies through Harvard Business School Online and a Master of Arts in Leadership through the University of Guelph to hone my craft and find more meaningful ways to lead change. My work with MySafeWork and hosting Courageous events has also expressed that commitment, helping young people understand that their safety matters and that they have a voice at work.

Through Majovsky & Associates, I’m bringing my industry and education experience together. I care deeply about how people learn, how training systems support them, and how organizations build the capability to do their work well. Training and development require continued attention and care to truly serve their purpose. Returning to my industrial roots lets me put everything I’ve learned toward the purpose that has guided me from the beginning: developing people and helping build safer workplaces.

Everyone deserves to feel prepared, valued, and safe in the work they do.
